PBA: TNT Trades Al-Hussaini to Express

by Waylon Galvez

Pba_2012-13_logoManila, Philippines – The PBA Governors’ Cup Finals is still ongoing but the wheeling and dealing for other ball clubs have started yesterday as Talk ’N Text dealt center Rabeh Al-Hussaini to Air 21 in a three-team, nine-player trade.

The Tropang Texters traded the 6-foot-7 Al-Hussaini to the Express for power forward Rob Reyes and Air21’s second round pick in 2015.

But after securing the rights of Al-Hussaini, the Express worked a separate deal and traded him and Nelbert Omolon to Meralco for Mark Cardona and Noy Baclao, the Express’ No. 1 overall pick during the 2010 Draft.

But that was only a stopover for Baclao as Air21 sent him and guard Eric Salamat to TNT for forward Bam Gamalinda and guard Pamboy Raymundo.

The trades were approved yesterday by PBA Commissioner Chito Salud.
