NLEX eyes sweep

Games Tomorrow (Ynares Arena, Pasig City)
12 n.n. – NLEX vs Big Chill
2 p.m. – Blackwater vs Café France

Pressure will be on Big Chill with NLEX motivated to sweep the elimination round of the PBA D-League Foundation Cup without a loss.

The two teams wind up their elimination round assignments on Thursday with the Superchargers also needing an all-important to cement its place in the quarterfinals. Game time is set at 12 noon at the Ynares Arena in Pasig City.

Defending champion Blackwater Sports (4-3) also look to win two in a row when it battles Café France in the second game at 2 p.m. to secure a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals.

But the Elite should expect to grind it out against the Bakers, who are seeking a follow up to its 70-66 victory against Cagayan Valley on Monday to stay in contention for a quarterfinals spot.

The Road Warriors stayed unbeaten in eight games with a 76-68 victory against Cebuana Lhuillier last Tuesday.

Although they are already assured of an outright semifinal berth, the Road Warriors are not slowing down just yet.
