SINGER Yeng Constantino goes international as her song becomes part of the movie soundtrack of the much-awaited animation film version of “Angry Birds The Movie.”

“Yengsters!!! I am so grateful to be a part of the original soundtrack of Angry Birds The Movie! Ito po available na on all digital platforms kasama ang “Wonderful Life (Mi Oh My)” version ko po. Nasa Spotify New Music Friday Playlist na rin ’yung single,” Constantino said on Instagram recently.

“Thank you Warner Music, Star Music and PARI. Release Date of the whole album is Friday, May 6th!” she added.

Netizens congratulated the Filipino pop-rock singer after she posted the good news on IG.

“Angry Birds The Movie,” a 3D computer-animated action-adventure comedy movie, is scheduled to be shown in the US on May 20, 2016.

It will have its world premiere in Finland and the United Kingdom on May 13, 2016.

Aside from Constantino, other singers in the soundtrack are Blake Shelton, Demi Lovato, Imagine Dragons, Charli XCX, Rick Astley, Tone Loc, Limp Bizkit, etc.

Constantino, 27, shot to fame when she won grand prize in “Pinoy Dream Academy” inaugural season in 2006.

She also composed popular Filipino songs such as “Hawak Kamay,” “Chinito,” “Ikaw,” among others.

Constantino got married to Yan Asuncion, lead vocalist of the alternative rock band Indios, in Cavite on Feb. 14, 2015.
