F2 Logistics stakes unbeaten record

Games Today
(The Arena, San Juan)
3:30 p.m. – F2 Logistics vs Foton
5:30 p.m. – Standard Insurance vs Amy’s

F2 Logistics aims to keep its record unscathed and the solo leadership when it tangles with Foton today in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference at The Arena in San Juan.

Match is set at 3:30 p.m. with the Cargo Movers gunning for their fourth straight triumph in as many outings to untangle themselves from a logjam with RC Cola-Army and Petron.

Standard Insurance-Navy and Amy’s Kitchen, meanwhile, clash at 5:30 p.m. with both squads seeking their respective first victories.

The Navy Spikers are near the cellar with a 0-2 win-loss record, while the Amy’s Spikers are at the bottom standings with a 0-3 hole.

Focus, however, will be on F2, which is coming off an easy 25-12, 25-16, 25-18 triumph over Generika three days back that further strengthened its title campaign.

Aby Maraño is expected to provide leadership for the Cargo Movers anew along with rookies Mika Reyes, Ara Galang and Kim Dy after playing consistently in their previous three victories.

Foton’s vaunted chemistry and cohesiveness, however, will be put to test with towering Jaja Santiago in front of its charge.

Seasoned players Rhea Dimaculangan and Mika Ortiz, as well as power-hitting Cherry Rondina are set to provide ample support to match F2’s firepower. (KS)
