Jessy says Luis has chance to win her heart

Actress Jessy Mendiola has said that actor Luis Manzano has a chance to win her heart if he’s really courting her.

“Oo naman! I’m not denying anything. Ayoko naman maging sobrang pretentious na wala. Meron. Kasi si Luis is a good guy and any girl would be lucky to have him. Kaya siguro Lucky ang pangalan nya,” said Mendiola when asked about Manzano’s chances, during an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.

Asked if Manzano was courting her, Mendiola said: “Ewan ko sa kanya, Natanong na ata ‘yan sa kanya.”

Mendiola, 23, also said that there’s nothing wrong hanging out with Manzano, host of the Kapamilya game show “Family Feud.”

“I don’t see anything wrong in hanging out with Luis. We go out from time to time and siguro naman hindi kami nagtatago kasi may pictures naman to prove na we go out. But we will go a long way pa. It is what it is. What you see is what you get,” the actress said.

Mendiola also said that she does not want to label anything about her and Manzano.

“I don’t want to label it as anything kasi sometimes we go out as group. We are friends but we are getting closer to each other. But you know, he knows that I have a lot of things to do right now and he knows that I am enjoying my life as it is,” the actress said.

Mendiola has been proclaimed sexiest woman in the Philippines for 2016 in the annual poll conducted by FHM Magazine men’s magazine.

“Naloka ako! Thank you! Grabe! Bakit ganito nakakagulat kayo!” said Mendiola, when staff members of the glossy magazine led by its managing editor Allan Hernandez surprised the actress with the FHM certificate as this year’s winner and a bouquet of flowers, during the taping of “Banana Sundae” at Star Cinema recently.

Abunda said that the visit was a set-up when Mendiola was earlier informed that she would do a stand-up for an endorsement.

“Hindi ko ine-expect ito pero I was hoping. Thank you everyone. What’s important is loving yourself, being healthy and being the better version of yourself,” said Mendiola, who was ranked No. 23 in last year’s annual poll.

“I guess kaya nangyayari ito because I am in that journey. Nasa journey ako of being a better version of myself,” she added.

Mendiola was seen in the recent Kapamilya teleserye “You’re My Home” with JC De Vera, Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta. She is now shooting a film called “Sin Island.”
