Bistek Tagalog

Kung mayroong isang Pinoy recipe na paboritong lutuin at ihanda para sa inyong pamilya, ito ay ang Bistek Tagalog. Siguradong mapapa-yum yum yum ang inyong pamilya at maging ang inyong mga kaibigan kapag natikman na ang recipe ng inyong nag-iisang Chef Boy Logro!

Ingredients:
500 g beef sirloin, sliced into ¼ inch thick pieces
8 pcs calamansi, juiced
½ cup soy sauce
1 tsp black pepper
3 pcs red onions, cut into rings
Cooking oil
Water as needed

Procedure:
1. In a bowl, mix calamansi juice and soy sauce.
2. Season beef with black pepper and add into the soy-calamansi mixture. Marinade at least 20 minutes.
3. Heat oil in frying pan. Stir-fry onion and remove from pan.
4. In the same pan, heat oil and fry beef until brown. Pour marinade and water, let it simmer until beef are tender and sauce has been reduced.
5. Season sauce with soy sauce and black pepper.
6. Put in serving plate and top beef with onion rings.
