MalacaƱang said it respects the ruling of the Supreme Court junking the plunder case filed against former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
āThe Supreme Court has spoken,ā Presidential Communications Operations Secretary Martin Andanar said in a text message to reporters shortly after news broke out about the imminent release of the former leader.
āLet us respect and abide by the High Courtās decision,ā Andanar added.
Andanar affirmed that the Supreme Court has voted 11-4 to acquit Arroyo in connection with charges that she misused funds of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
Arroyo earlier filed a petition before the High Court seeking the dismissal of her plunder case before the Sandiganbayan for lack of evidence.
The former leader has been detained at a government hospital in Quezon City for more than five years pending a trial in connection with plunder complaint filed against her by the previous administration. (Genalyn Kabiling)
Thanks for your advice on this blog. One thing I would want to say is that often purchasing electronic devices items over the Internet is nothing new. In reality, in the past 10 years alone, the marketplace for online electronics has grown considerably. Today, you can get practically any type of electronic gizmo and devices on the Internet, from cameras along with camcorders to computer parts and gambling consoles.
