Angeline reveals failed relationship with Erik

Angeline Quinto

Singer-actress Angeline Quinto has revealed that career is one of the reasons why she did not pursue a relationship with singer Erik Santos.

‘Yun po ang sinasabi ko para maintindihan ako ng mama ko,” said Quinto in an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.

Asked who between her and Santos became stupid in love, Quinto said: “Ako po.”

Quinto also said that she does not want to go out on a date right now with anyone but cannot speak for Santos.

In March, Quinto confessed the reason why she has not said “yes” to a relationship with Santos.

Birit Queens
Quinto, 26, said that she gets along well with other birit queens Klarisse, Morisette and Jona Viray when they sing in ASAP every Sunday.

She denied rumors that she gets special treatment among the four singers.

Quinto, who stars in new film “That Thing Called Tanga Na,” also said that she wants to stay humble all the time.

When asked who’s the best singer of them all, Quinto laughed: “Ang hirap. Na-pressure ako.”

Quinto rose to fame when she won “Star Power: Sharon’s Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar” in 2011. She has also recorded CDs, staged concerts and appeared in other movies and television shows.
