China on Saturday expressed deep condolences to the victims of a terrorist attack in Davao City Friday and reiterated its opposition to “terrorism in all forms.”
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying made the remarks after an explosion killed at least 15 people and wounded 71 others in the hometown of President Duterte.
Saying the Chinese side was shocked by the attack, Hua expressed deep condolences and sympathy to the victims and their families.
She said China believed that the Philippine government, under the leadership of Duterte, will take necessary measures to restore peace and stability in the city. (PNA/Xinhua)
