CARMONA – Four players grabbed the top spot as Taipei’s Lin Wen-tang, Danthai Boonma and Rattanon Wannasrichan of Thailand, and Johannes Veerman of the US all shot 8-under par 64 for the clubhouse lead at the start of the US$1 million Resorts World Manila Masters yesterday at the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club here.
Taipei’s Hung Chien-yao, England’s Steve Lewton and Thailand’s Tiriwat Kaewsiribandit were a shot behind at 7-under par 65, while local bet Rufino Bayron tied Lionel Weber of France and Scott Vincent of Zimbabwe carded a 6-under 66.
Frankie Miñoza and Miguel Tabuena finished in a six-way tie with Vietnam’s Michael Tran, India’s Chiragh Kumar, Singapore’s Mardan Mamat and Australia’s Michael Wright all at 5-under par 67.
