DAVAO CITY – A 4.6 magnitude earthquake jolted Davao City Thursday morning that injured two women who were waiting for their ride beneath a waiting shed.
Based on the latest earthquake bulletin of Philippine Volcanology and Seismology, the epicenter of the quake was located nine kilometers northwest of Davao City and was tectonic in origin.
Meantime the victims were identified as 43-year-old Maria Teresa Pusta, married and an employee of Dalas Energy and Petroleum and Fe Yu, 66 who is a retired teacher.
Rene Caballo, adminitrative aide of Palma Gil Elementary School, said that they immediately responded to one of the women who was seriously injured. (Antonio Colina IV)
