The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration estimated the location of the LPA at 715 kilometers east of Surigao City before noon yesterday.
The trough or extension of the LPA is expected to bring scattered rain showers during thunderstorms, with possible lightning, strong winds, and scattered light to moderate with at times heavy rains over Quezon, Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Masbate, Sorsogon, Catanduanes, Biliran, Eastern Samar, Leyte, Northern Samar, Samar, and Southern Leyte today.
