IN FULL SWING – After quite a while, beauty authority Jay P. Delgado is back in Highspeed with this report.

The 18th Miss Earth Philippines is in full swing with the 42 delegates from all over the country as well as Filipino communities abroad wowing audiences during the pre-events and competitions as well as the preliminary judging where they are judged for form and figure, face, poise, and intelligence.

The environment savvy delegates are divided into five groups: NCR, Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and Overseas Communities. Quite noticeably, there are very strong contenders from Visayas and Mindanao.

This year’s theme is Dyosa ng Inang Kalikasan where its delegate chose to represent a goddess of nature from their place of origin.

We have picked 12 ladies who have consistently stood out throughout the month-long pageant and are likely to advance to the finals where Miss Earth Philippines 2018 and her “elemental” court (Air, Water, Fire, and Ecotourism) will be crowned on May 19 at the MOA Arena and aired on ABS-CBN on May 27.
