Police arrested Thursday a former Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agent, a dismissed policeman, an active traffic constable, and their companion who were tagged in the kidnapping of two Chinese nationals and carnapping of their cars.
Quezon City Police District director Chief Superintendent Joselito Esquivel Jr. identified the arrested men as Arnold Camayang, 33, a former Intelligence Agent of PDEA and a resident of Caloocan City; dismissed PO1 Mark Anthony Roque, 36, last assigned to PNP-Crime Laboratory, of Pasig City; Alvin Roque, 27, an MMDA traffic constable, of Taytay, Rizal; and Christian John Talaue, 22, of Barangay Salvacion, Quezon City, who were all relatives and natives of Tulao, Cagayan.
According to the police, the four men were behind the recent carnapping incidents and kidnapping of two Chinese in Quezon City last May 25.
