University of Santo Tomas stakes its immaculate record when it collides with College of St. Benilde today in the 2018 Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference at The Arena in San Juan City.

The Tigresses gun for their fifth consecutive triumph in their 4 p.m. duel with the Lady Blazers to keep their hold of the top spot.

The España-based squad hopes to showcase the chemistry and firepower that enabled it to win its four games with nary a trouble.

In four matches, the Tigresses dropped only one set.

But against the Lady Blazers, they’re not taking their chances.

Benilde is coming off 21-25, 26- 24, 25-8, 25-23 win over San Beda last week in a performance that ended a two-game losing streak.

Out to lead the Lady Blazers are the troika of Marites Pablo, Klarisa Abriam and Chelsea Umali.

The Tigresses, on the other hand, will be led by Eya Laure, Tin Francisco and Carla Sandoval.

In the other pairing, San Sebastian and San Beda clash at 2 p.m. with both teams going for their first wins.

The Lady Stags and the Lady Red Spikers have 0-4 and 0-3 records.
