A FOUR-YEAR-OLD boy accidentally left by his mother inside a condominium unit died after falling off the 16th floor of the building in Barangay Marcel Green, Parañaque City, Wednesday.

Police identified the boy as Lucky Parana, son of Salvacion Parana, 40, caretaker of unit 1601 Rio Building, Azure Residences and Resorts in Parañaque City.

Investigation showed that Salvacion along with her son was supposed to get the key from the unit guests who were just about to check out of the place.

Police said Salvacion took out the garbage and accidentally left his son inside the unit.

The report said the unit’s door accidentally slammed and was locked from the inside.

The victim’s mother immediately sought assistance from the lobby staff to open the door but the personnel said that they do not have a duplicate key.

They then proceeded to the engineering office and requested a locksmith to open the door.

As the locksmith opened the door they rushed to look for the child, but discovered that he had already fallen to the metal grills of the parking lot on the ground.

The security together with the victim’s mother brought the victim to the Parañaque Doctors Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
