STEPHEN Curry spent Friday morning honing the three-point shot that endeared him to many fans across the world, showing no signs that his thirst of winning NBA championships has waned despite having four under his belt.

Not even the start of a busy Asian tour prevented Curry from squeezing in a few hours of individual training with the season just around the corner and the Golden State Warriors once again favored to continue their NBA dominance.

“We want more. We want to accomplish the ultimate feat of winning a championship every single year,” Curry said after the press conference at the Kerry Sports Gym in Shangri-La Fort which was held after his workout.

“That is why you work so hard in the offseason. It is why you put in the hours every day to get the right mindset to get your body ready and take advantage of a very short basketball career and win as many titles as you can,” he added.

Golden State won three of the last four championships, all at the expense of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

But the Warriors could face plenty of obstacles with the Houston Rockets eager for revenge after their in the Western Conference Finals and James moving to Hollywood and play for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Curry is in the country for the start of a promotional tour of the continent, three years after the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player made his first visit amid huge fanfare. The second visit was expected to garner a similar appeal, with Curry still on top of his game.

“There is so much support here in the Philippines and all of Southeast Asia for what we do on the court, what I do and what I represent,” he said.

“I told the people in Mall of Asia Arena three years ago that I will come back. It just took a little longer than I thought,” he said.

Curry is promoting his signature sneaker SC5 from Under Armour, part of the SC30 Asian Tour.
