Minor yields 30 sachets of shabu

handcuffedAt least 30 sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from a 15-year-old boy in a buy-bust operation in Caloocan City before midnight Sunday.

Police Major Rengie Deimos, Caloocan police Station Drug Enforcement Unit chief, said that the suspect was included in the barangay drug watchlist.

Deimos added that the suspect was also allegedly involved in shooting and holdup incidents in Caloocan.

Investigation showed that joint operatives of the CCPS-SDEU and Special Operations Unit conducted a drug sting against the suspect at around 11:30 p.m.

A police poseur-buyer transacted with the suspect who was arrested after he sold shabu to the police poseur-buyer.

Recovered from him were at least 30 sachets of suspected shabu.

Police have yet to determine the street value of the seized items.

The suspect is now under the custody of the CCPS-SOU and will be turned over to the Department of Social Works and Development for proper disposition. (Joseph Almer Pedrajas)
