Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagaso has rewarded with employment regularization nine city hall employees with job order (JO) status.
During the flag raising ceremony at Bonifacio Monument in Ermita on Monday morning, Domagoso presented and recognized three traffic enforcers from the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) whom he granted regular work status for refusing to accept bribes from a traffic violator. They are Eduardo Lambino, Kenneth Naval, and Edwin Tria.
Domagoso said the three instead reported the incident to their office to give the violator a proper sanction.
Domagoso lamented that some individuals seem to disrespect the duty of these enforcers thus, he said, “Binabalewala ang kanilang ID, uniporme.
In the same event, he also ordered the regularization of six other city hall workers who has been working under job order status for at least eight years.
No further details were given about the names of the individuals as well as which offices they are assigned to. (Hanah Tabios)
