RURU Madrid

RURU Madrid is on cloud nine and for good reason.

He continues to be among busiest young stars today.

Apart from “Cara X Jagger,” his upcoming movie with Jasmine Curtis-Smith, he is also hitting a new high as recording artist.

Apparently, the 21-year-old didn’t have it easy back when he was just starting his career just trying to convince people he deserves to be in show business.

“Ang hirap. Ang hirap talaga. ‘Yun ‘yung parang walang gustong maniwala sa akin, na parang napakaraming nagda-doubt, walang bilib,” he said.

He didn’t take it sitting down, of course.

It worked wonders for him.

He also cited classes he took under acting coach Anthony Bova as “very helpful” in his transformation.

More than anything though, Ruru credits his being a dedicated member of Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in getting him to where he is now.

He said, “I can do all things basta nasa tabi ko lang si God.

Note he never misses church service even when things get too hectic.

(NEIL RAMOS)
