New Bulacan provincial police chief installed

CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS, Malolos City, Bulacan – Police Brig. Gen. Rhodel O. Sermonia, Police Regional Office 3 chief, yesterday installed Police Col. Emma Macapagal Libunao as officer-in-charge of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office during formal turnover rites at the Bulacan police headquarters here.

Libunao  replaced Police Col. Chito G. Bersaluna who served provincial police director for more than one year.

She was previously assigned as chief of police in Balagtas and San Ildefonso, this province, and here.

Before becoming Bulacan police chief, she was assigned at the Directorate for Police Community Relations at the PNP national headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

Libunao is the first ever lady Bulacan provincial police chief.

She vowed to perform her new mandated task with commitment and benevolence. She assured the people that the whole Bulacan PNP, with the help and support of the community, will continue its relentless effort in the implementation of the intensified campaign against illegal drugs, terrorism, and other forms of criminality.
