A traffic enforcer of the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) was shot dead by two unidentified gunmen along Railroad Street at Port Area in Manila Sunday morning.
Capt. Henry Navarro, Manila Police District (MPD) homicide division chief, identified the victim as Ronald Malonzo, 39, resident of Malate, Manila.
MTPB Chief Dennis Viaje said Malonzo was walking on the way to a store before he was shot at around 9:52 a.m.
Navarro said Malonzo died due to gunshot wounds in the head and chest.
Police have yet to determine the motive behind the killing.
Follow-up operation is ongoing for the identification and arrest of the gunmen, probers said. (Minka Tiangco)
