With Covid-19 and your friends getting sick and dying, you realize that human life is frail.

That life can be taken away in a snap.

Watching Showti, my Aldabra tortoise, makes me realize that worrying does not add another hour of life if it’s our time to go.

Showti just eats grass the whole day. He basks under the sun and God, his maker, takes care of him. He can live to 200 years.

I figure we are far more blessed than Showti. We are God’s children. He created us in His image and likeness, fearfully and wonderfully made!

So it seems, Showti is telling me, ‘’Relax ka lang, Kuya Kim, God’s got our back.’’
