Twitter continues to enliven the Filipino’s need to express themselves.
This is made obvious when they pushed Sam Smith’s tweet about Carl Malone Montecido, a young Filipino boy caught on camera singing one of his songs in a public karaoke machine as this year’s Top Retweet and Most Liked Tweet in the Philippines.
The singer tweeted, “WHO IS THIS KID!!!!!?”
“YOU ARE OUT OF THIS UNIVERSE WHOEVER YOU ARE,” Smith added.
Note this tweet is also the one of the Most Engaged Tweets in Southeast Asia.
In an interview, Smith said it “would be an honor” for him to perform with Montecido if given the chance.
“One hundred million percent yes, yes. It would be an absolute honor to sing with him. He’s incredible. He’s a better singer than I am. I’ll be so scared singing with him. He’s unbelievable,” he said.
Montecido was a contestant on “Tawag ng Tanghalan” in 2016.
Last July, Montecido won a silver medal at the World Championship of Performing Arts Virtual 2020.
Meanwhile, the thread on “catfishing” by Jzan Tero (@JzanVern), who identified as a transwoman, is the Most Quote Tweeted Tweet in the Philippines for this year.
Throughout this grand pattern of things you’ll secure an A just for effort and hard work. Where you actually lost everybody was in your details. As as the maxim goes, details make or break the argument.. And that couldn’t be much more accurate here. Having said that, allow me tell you what exactly did work. The article (parts of it) is definitely highly engaging which is most likely why I am making an effort in order to opine. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Next, although I can see a leaps in logic you come up with, I am definitely not confident of just how you appear to unite the ideas which in turn make the conclusion. For right now I shall yield to your position however trust in the future you actually connect the dots much better.
