PBA: Alaska weathers Rain or Shine

Alaska survived a late charge by Rain or Shine as its import Cory Jefferson made big plays down the stretch last night but the Aces leaned on JVee Casio’s crucial free throws en route to a 105-102 win in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Alaska Aces leaned on key baskets from Sonny Thoss and prevented the Mahindra Floodbuster from completing their fourth quarter comeback to come away with a 98-92 victory last night and remain unbeaten in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena.
