PNP defends Digong

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has defended President Duterte against Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV’s supposed remarks in a United Nations (UN)-led anti-illegal drugs meeting that there is a state-sanctioned killing in the guise of the government’s war on drugs.

Malacañang has suspended Overall Deputy Ombudsman Melchor Arthur Carandang for 90 days due to his disclosure of President Duterte’s alleged bank transactions reaching P1 billion without the authority of the Anti-Money Laundering Council last year.
