Trader slain in Binondo

A Chinese businessman tagged by police as a drug personality was gunned down by four unidentified men in front of a hotel in Binondo, Manila, Saturday night.

The Philippines is set to become “Asia’s rising tiger” amid string of positive economic signs, most recently the drop in the country’s unemployment rate, Malacañang said on Friday.
