Fil-Brit pug seeks berth in PH team

Light-heavyweight John Marvin, a member of the British Army boxing team, is arriving in the country this Saturday to apply for a slot on the Philippine squad to the 29th Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Boxing coach Pat Gaspi said yesterday that it’s possible to have a mixture of upcoming boxers and veteran campaigners as the national team prepares for two important events this year.
