Aguirre questions Aquino’s exclusion from SAF44 case

Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II yesterday wondered why former President Benigno S. Aquino III was absolved by the Office of the Ombudsman of liability in the Mamasapano clash that killed 44 members of the police Special Action Force (SAF) in 2015.

Police have appealed to Mayor Rasul Sangki of Ampatuan, Maguindanao to surrender peacefully because there are search warrants against him for possession of high-powered firearms and suspected illegal drugs.

A NEW name has appeared in military reports of fighting in Mindanao – Maute Group.
