Businessman in P6.4-B shabu tries to leave PH

Without an arrest warrant preventing him, a businessman tagged in the P6.4-billion shabu shipment from China tried to leave the country with the help of an Immigration employee, Justice Secretary Vitaliano N. Aguirre disclosed.

Two-hundred thirty two foreign fugitives who hid in the country to evade prosecution and sentences for crimes they committed in their homelands were arrested by the Bureau of Immigration last year.
