Cops linked to Espinosa’s death get new assignments

A police colonel and his men who were linked to the killing of Albuera, Leyte Mayor Roland Espinosa have already been reinstated and will be given new assignments in Central Visayas and Central Mindanao.

A police major assigned to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding armed men while on board his vehicle in a gasoline station in Pasig City at about 12:30 a.m. yesterday.
