CHED lifts ban, tightens rules on field trips

The Commission on Higher Education said yesterday it has lifted its ban on off-campus activities that it imposed last February on public and private colleges and universities following an accident that killed 15 students in a field trip in Tanay, Rizal last February.

Secretary Patricia Licuanan of the Commission on Higher Education led her fellow Cabinet officials as the top earner last year but her earnings, P2,581,615 million as of December 31, 2016, was P767,153.40 shy of President Duterte’s registered income for half the period.

Read in the Tempo report of Robert Requintina that Sunshine Cruz graduated last April 1 at Arellano University with a degree in AB Psychology. She took up the course under the expanded tertiary education equivalency and accreditation program of the Commission on Higher Education. Sunshine is 39.
