Nerlens Noel is out of the Dallas Mavericks’ doghouse and back into his coaches’ good graces. Just two days after being benched for what was supposed to be his first game with his new NBA team, Noel scored 15 points with 17 rebounds and two assists on Friday to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 104-100 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

NBA: Sixers Waive Andrew Bogut, Possibly Headed to Cavs

Andrew Bogut was waived by the Philadelphia 76ers Monday, days after he was acquired from the Dallas Mavericks. Philly acquired the Australian center last Thursday in exchange for Nerlens Noel. Packaged in the deal with Bogut was Justin Anderson and a 2017 first-round draft pick.

NBA: Dallas tries out Ben Bentil, Quinn Cook

The Dallas Mavericks have signed two former NBA D-League players in Ben Bentil and guard Quinn Cook. Both were given 10-day contracts as the Mavericks looked to fill open spots following a roster shake-up due to the NBA trade deadline. Bentil and Cook are expected to suit up when the Mavs face the Miami Heat.
