Oscar Robertson endorsed Russell Westbrook for the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award before the Thunder’s regular-season finale against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday.

Russell Westbrook capped his history-making 42nd triple-double of the season with a game-winning three-pointer on Sunday as his Oklahoma City Thunder knocked the Denver Nuggets out of NBA playoff contention.

NBA: Jamal Murray, Buddy Hield lead World team over US

Murray had 36 points and 11 assists as the World squad beat the U.S. 150-141 on Friday night. Hield, a New Orleans Pelicans rookie, added 28 points to the delight of the locals who’ll want to see more of that when the regular season resumes.
