PBA: Imports hold the answer

Ginebra hopes to make another title run with the return of Justin Brownlee, whose buzzer-beating three gave the Gin Kings their first PBA title in eight years during last season’s Governors’ Cup. It may also be a disadvantage for Ginebra, which will have to play without a legitimate big man with Greg Slaughter still out with an injury.

Former NBA veterans Greg Smith and Sean Williams are among the first-time imports who will see action in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup which starts this Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
