Captured ‘ecstasy supplier’ flees from hospital; hunt on

Police and government anti-narcotics group have deployed tracker teams to hunt down a Korean-American who escaped from a hospital where he was confined after his arrest for illegal drugs trade.

The newly created Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Unit has started conducting background checks on all applicants and other would-be anti-narcotics policemen as part of the efforts to shield the unit from scalawag policemen.

QC court allows bail for Marcelino

A Quezon City court has granted the bail petition of former Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency official Marine Lt. Col. Ferdinand Marcelino who was nabbed in a shabu laboratory raid in Sta. Cruz, Manila on January 21.
