Former Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas President Manny V. Pangilinan reiterated the stand of Gilas Pilipinas in sending its heavy artillery in the ongoing SEABA Championship, saying that it’s better to be safe than be sorry.

Gilas Pilipinas begins what could be a long and arduous journey towards the 2019 FIBA World Cup and hopefully the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as it battles Myanmar tonight in the opener of the SEABA Championship at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

PBA: Lee receives P15-M offer
