2 TOFARM movies included in Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino

PASOK ang award-winning movies ng TOFARM Film Festival na “Paglipay” at “Pauwi Na” sa 12 na mga pelikulang kalahok sa Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino, na inorganisa ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), at mapapanood sa mga sinehan nationwide sa Agosto 16-22. Kaya naman masayang-masaya at nagpapasalamat sa FDCP ang TOFARM organizers sa pangunguna nina Festival Director Maryo J. Delos Reyes at Dr. Milagros O. How, TOFARM Chief Advocate at Exceutive Vice-President ng Universal Harvester Inc.

PNP Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa; Chief Superintendent Gilberto DC Cruz, director of Police Relations Community Group; Deputy Director General Archie Francisco Gamboa, chief of Directorial Staff; Deputy Director General Ramon C. Apolinario, deputy chief for PNP Administration; and other officials graced the inaugural film festival for students.

TOFARM seeds are already bearing fruit

Only on its second year, the seeds planted by TOFARM Film Festival last year are already bearing fruit. Look, one of the entries in 2016, Paulo Villaluna’s “Pauwi Na,” won best feature film in Shanghai, one of the largest cinema events in Asia. And consider the nominees in the 40th Gawad Urian, where a number of nominees are also part of the TOFARM filmfest in 2016.
