ASEAN to seek COC in South China Sea

Leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and China are poised to give a green light to start the negotiation for a binding Code of Conduct (COC) in the South China Sea when they meet in Manila on Tuesday.

The Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs Sarah Arriola said in a statement on Saturday that the 43-year-old Filipino woman was seriously injured in Thursday’s attack. She had been based in Australia for the past three or four years.
