PBA: GlobalPort hires new import

As promised, GlobalPort gave unimpressive import Jabril Trawick the pink slip and hired big man Murphey Holloway as its new reinforcement in the PBA Governors Cup, hoping it could get the needed presence that the Batang Pier have been looking for.

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) filed yesterday tax evasion charges against former basketball star Franz Pumaren for his alleged failure to settle the more than P20 million tax debts of his trading company.
