Palace warns cops asking bribes from gambling lords

Policemen and other law enforcers protecting or asking money from illegal gambling lords will be the first ones to go if such irregularities are proven, Malacañang warned yesterday.

President-elect Rodrigo Duterte vowed to stamp out corruption in government bureaucracy which will be one of his priority agenda when he assumes the presidency on June 30.
