Sotto hits EU meddling in war vs drugs

Senate Majority Leader Vicente “Tito” C. Sotto III said yesterday that the European Union has no moral right meddling with the Philippines’ war on drugs as he defended President Duterte’s approach in dealing with the illicit drug trade.

In an unprecedented move, 40 suspected shabu drug pushers in Placer town and its neighboring areas voluntarily surrendered to police and local government unit (LGU) authorities as they vowed to support incoming President Rodrigo R. Duterte’s mission to make the country drug-free.
