Jinggoy wants PEACE bonds probed

Senate President Pro Tempore Jose “Jinggoy“ Estrada has filed a resolution asking the Senate to reopen the investigation into the P35-billion so-called Peace Eradication and Alleviation Certificates (PEACE) bonds controversy.

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has came out with stricter rules in processing the student visa applications following reports that many non-student aliens got the papers to prolong their stay in the country, it was learned yesterday.

Jose Miguel “Mike” T. Arroyo, former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Benjamin S.
