People look forward to barangay, SK elections

IT was the first day of filing of Certificates of Candidacy (CoC) for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections last Saturday, April 14, and “surprisingly, more than what we expected came to file their CoCs,” Commission on Elections (Comelec) spokesman James Jimenez said.

The first day allowing for the filing of the certificate of candidacy (CoC) for this year’s Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections was deemed peaceful, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said.
