Jay Washington found the right time to catch fire and defending champion Rain or Shine avoided Blackwater’s upset axe for a 95-88 victory last night to stay unbeaten in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

Star’s ace playmaker Paul Lee has been replaced by teammate Allein Maliksi yesterday in the Gilas Pilipinas national team training pool due to a meniscal tear on a troublesome left knee.
