Thousands flee Batangas quakes

Thousands fled their homes and slept outdoors in the aftermath of a series of strong earthquakes that struck Batangas, a province still reeling from a previous tremor.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the island province Catanduanes said the sporadic landslides triggered by Tropical Depression ‘Carina’ caused P3 million worth of damage.
