Leila calls for probe

Even before the scheduled probe into the alleged extra judicial killings and summary executions starts this month, Senator Leila de Lima is urging the Duterte administration to readily embrace the Senate’s inquiry and participate in the upcoming hearings.

The camp of former President now Pampanga Rep. Gloria M. Arroyo warned Department of Justice (DoJ) Secretary Leila de Lima yesterday that she will be responsible for the adverse developments on the health of Mrs. Arroyo if she continues to further delay the approval of her request to travel abroad for treatment.

The Department of Justice (DoJ) issued yesterday a watchlist order (WLO) against former President now Pampanga Rep. Gloria M. Arroyo and her husband, former First Gentleman Atty. Jose Miguel “Mike” T. Arroyo, former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Benjamin S. Abalos Sr., former Justice Secretary Alberto Agra, and several other election officials and private individuals charged with election fraud in the 2007 elections.
