Leni pays P8M for counter-protest

Vice President Leni Robredo paid yesterday the initial P8 million of the P15.43 million required by the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) for her counter-protest against former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

The nation must focus on sustaining the country’s economic growth and not be distracted by destructive politics, Malacañang said in welcoming the Liberal Party’s rejection of the impeachment bid against President Duterte.
