Marcelino drug case dismissed for 2nd time

For the second time, the Department of Justice (DoJ) decided to dismiss the drug case against former Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) official Marine Lieutenant Colonel Ferdinand Marcelino and his Chinese co-accused Yan Yi Shou.

Two former Manila barangay officials were sent up to 23 years in jail for claiming P10,000 gasoline expense for a discarded or unserviceable vehicle in 2004, the Office of the Ombudsman announced yesterday.
