UAAP Season 79: Bulldogs rip UE, end 6-game skid

Matt Salem rediscovered his shooting stroke and scored 11 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter as the Bulldogs snapped a six-game losing skid by beating the University of the East Red Warriors, 64-52, in the resumption of the UAAP basketball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Defending champion Far Eastern University and National University aim to secure solo second before the end of the first round as they clash today in UAAP basketball at the Mall of Asia Arena.
